How we handle your information, in plain language.
Information we collect
We collect what you give us when you create an account, and the results of games you play at MPR rated events or log at home.
- Your name, email address, and city
- Event results submitted by club hosts
- Home games you log, including who was at the table
- Payment information, handled entirely by our payment processor
Information other members give us about you
When a member logs a home game, they name the people they played with and provide an email address for each. If you are not a member yet, we create a placeholder record holding that name and email so your results are not lost.
- We email you once to tell you a home game was logged with your address
- That email always includes a way to tell us it is not you
- Tell us and we unlink the record and stop writing
How we use it
Your information is used to calculate and display your ratings, to place you at appropriately matched tables, and to let other members find players near them.
We do not sell your information, and we never share your personal details with advertisers.
What other people can see
Members can see your ratings and your city in the player directory. Guests see a rounded figure only. People you played a home game with can see that home game and who was at the table.
You can request deletion of your account and history at any time by writing to us.
