Yes. When someone logs a home game, everyone at the table is named — and if you’re not on MPR yet, we hold your results under the email your friend gave us. Sign up with that address and your games are waiting; the email also includes a way to tell us it wasn’t you.
Enter it when you create your profile and your first 30 days of full membership are free. Already signed up without it? Add it in Account settings before you upgrade.
Same 1.0–10.0 scale, same math — the difference is who vouched for the result. MPR comes from home games you log, confirmed by the people you played with; Verified MPR is earned at official rated events, where the club reports the results. A 5.4 means the same thing either way. The questions you answered at signup set a starting point, so you have a number from day one. It’s never the last word: your real, confirmed games replace it as you play.
Yes. Your rating moves on your share of the points at the table, weighted by the strength of the people you played — a 75-point hand does more for you than a 25-point hand, and results against stronger players count for more.
MPR works with any card and any scoring format. Your rating is built from the results — your share of the points at the table and who you played — so it doesn’t matter which card your group uses or how you keep score, as long as you stay consistent within a session.
Not yet. MPR rates games played in person, at a real table. If that changes, we’ll announce it.
No. It never resets and never starts over — it only moves when results move it. Calibration is a starting period where a new rating moves more freely, not something that gets wiped.
Nothing. Your rating and history stay exactly where you left them — no decay, no expiration. Come back after a month or a year and pick up from the same number.
Yes — you don’t need a club at all. Log the games you play anywhere, name who was at the table, and once they confirm, your rating moves. Rated events add Verified MPR on top whenever you want it.
A home game is any game outside an official rated event — your kitchen table, the beach house, the road. One person at the table logs it (“Log a home game” on your dashboard), names who played, and enters the scores; everyone there is asked to confirm before anything counts.
Yes — a free profile is free forever. You get rated, you can play anything, and you appear in Find Players; your number shows rounded. Membership adds the exact rating, your full history, and the statistics behind it — the whole comparison is on Pricing.
Account settings → Manage membership, any time. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep member access until the end of the period you paid for. Your rating and history stay either way.
Your profile shows your rating and how many sessions built it. Members see exact numbers; everyone else sees a rounded figure. Nobody sees your game-by-game history but you. The one exception is a home game’s own table — the people who played it can see that session.
Yes — unlist yourself any time from Account settings (our emails carry an unlist link too). Unlisted, you disappear from Find Players and public pages while your rating keeps tracking. And contact requests are always your call: you decide whether to respond, and you can block someone permanently — they’re never told.
Email us and a real person will answer — there’s no ticket queue. For event tickets and registration, the host’s contact on the event page is fastest.
