Why I built MPR

As a Division I tennis player at Xavier University, I’ve always seen the value in having a rating system.

It tells you where you stand. It shows you how you are improving. It gives you the ability to find players at your level. Most of all, it gives the whole thing purpose — you’re never just playing, your games actually mean something.

When I saw my mom get involved in mahjong, I realized that nothing like this existed for mahjong players, and that there was a real need for it. So I created MPR.

Now every mahjong player has the ability to benefit from a system like this.
